Artist's Guidelines

  • Renard's Menagerie commissions art for every issue. We have a full color cover and multiple black and white illustrations inside.

  • We do not buy existing art.

  • We are looking for many different styles of art, including science-fiction and fantasy themed pictures.

  • The color images need to have quality backgrounds with good foreground characters.

  • Black and white art must have clean lines, and good quality shading if shading is used.

  • The ability to draw believable humans is a must.

  • All art is commissioned under contract to Water Dreams Productions LLC.

  • If you would like to do art for Renard's Menagerie please send a sample of your art to artsubmissions @ RenardsMenagerie.com, if you wish to do cover artwork it is important to include samples of your color artwork. Include in your e-mail the topics you would be interested in working on, as well as preferred species and subject matters, if any.
