Here we are, right at the start of the New Year. As always such a thing is a time of change and turmoil, and that includes change here at Renard's Menagerie.
It's not easy to say this, but issue #8 is the last issue of Renard's Menagerie. We are going to be shutting down new publication at the start of the year. We'll still have the back issues for sale, and we'll keep selling them as long as we can, but there will be no further issues forth coming.
There are a lot of reasons, and it wasn't an easy decision to make, but I feel that it was the right one. It's been an interesting few years, pulling together the staff and the stories, working to fill each issue. Even so nothing was ever easy, and problems seemed to snowball all the time.
If you're a subscriber, I'll be contacting you soon about refunding the remainder of your subscription (or you can get back issues if you like). You can also e-mail me before hand if that works better for you.
If you have a submission pending with us, it's safe to assume we'll not be able to take it. Once again I'll be trying to contact everyone via e-mail, but sometimes messages don't make it through.
I would like to thank everyone who's supported us, from the first issue to the last. Without you there never would have been a single issue. Thank you for your support.
